    Charity,

    9*!@/#!!–My emoticon for the way Obama and the Congressional Dems have done nothing but screw up (for over a year now), and for how the Vt. Democrats have their heads up their assess in this election year trying to avoid definitive action on Health care, Vt. Yankee, ATVs on State lands, and just about everything else. Although they can waste a lot of money on behavioral legislation, going after home-schoolers, and RUNNING EN MASSE FOR GOVERNOR.

    So here’s what I propose to you: You become a DEMOCRAT. It seems that the National Dems and Vt. Dems have become the Amateur Hour. Republicans are The Pros–at least they DO SOMETHING, even when they’re UNDOING something. The Democratic Party needs people like you–think of it as Home-Schooling. Maybe they’ll pay you too; you know, a consultant’s fee. Because if this bumbling, amateurish , SPINELESS, going-through-the-motions ‘theatre’ called the Democratic Party continues to ‘stay the course’ we’re going to wind up with One Party–the Republicans will just buy them out, like WalMart buying the corner store. Imagine professional Baseball or Football with one league/conference playing consistent .650 ball and the other league/conference falling all over themselves to lose.

    Please help the Democratic Party. Or are they beyond help?

    Obama’s making me feel 17 again (especially now with this ‘invasion’ of Haiti)–back in ’66 when I joined SDS and went to the local Commie Party meetings. Jesus, maybe I’ll become a Commie again–or a REPUBLICAN. I miss LBJ!

    So please, Charity–DO SOMETHING! They’re not gonna do nothin’. It’s up to you.

    Well, the Democrats are beyond help. Since that means we will end up with one party – the Republicans – the solution is obvious. YOU become a Republican. Bring your friends. Give it a make-over. I am in does-not-care mode. It’s up to you!
