  1. Peter Buknatski says:

    Charity,

It was 58 degrees yesterday. (bring out the barbecues) In March, the Vt. Ski Industry will ask for a bail-out.

  2. Charity says:

I assume you have lived in Vermont a long time, Peter, so you should know that the weather in this state is wacky. I remember my first green Christmas as a kid. It was so wrong! And there was a blizzard the day I was born, in April 1976. By the time my mom left the hospital, it was one of the hottest April days on record.

The plural of anecdote is not data.

  3. Henry says:

I am surprised that there has been so little acknowledgment from the Main Stream Media over the release of this information.

  4. Peter Buknatski says:

Been up here since the winter of ’75-’76. Warmest Thanksgiving season I can remember. Could have had burgers and hot dogs outside Thanksgiving Day. I hope your not debunking Global Warming, Charity. It is here. We have fouled our own nest. And we’re not doing anything about it. We’ll think about doing something, I suppose, tomorrow at Tara. Fidel-di-di.

  5. Charity says:

I’m not a global warming denier, but I am not a global warming zealot, either. I do not think the science is settled. I think the data was manipulated (which gives me more concern for the impact of that on science than on global warming). But, I also think there are other reasons to change the way we treat the planet, independent of whether or not global warming is caused by human activity.

    Consider the fence straddled.
